sto projects was formed in 2003 by Mario Rossi and Judith Stewart following their curatorial collaborations on Host: re-inventing the museum (2001) and strangers to ourselves (2003). Addressing issues relating to global migration, the project was further developed in 2004 and, recognising their mutual interest in curating as a form of collaborative art practice, has become an ongoing project through which they question the relationship between culture and politics.
